Breaking Free from Dysfunctional Patterns:
When faced with challenges, we often rely on default patterns or "life game plans" that help us navigate stressful situations. These patterns are necessary for navigating everyday life, as we can't afford to come to a full stop and deliberate over every little decision. However, these patterns can become rigid over time, and even when proven faulty, we continue to use them because the alternative seems chaotic. This is precisely what we see in the story of Abram in Genesis 12:10-20.
